Dear Maud has the best atmosphere and the most delicious food! I recently held an evening bridal shower at Dear Maud for 43 women, with an open bar and four shareable dishes in the back room. From start to finish, the staff could not have been nicer, more accommodating, or more helpful! From setup, throughout the entire party, and through cleanup, multiple staff members and managers personally assisted us with the best attitudes. They helped us find solutions for decorating and arranging the space, assisted with cleanup, and even carried our party supplies out to our cars. We were never waiting for drinks, the food was hot and plentiful, and we were never made to feel rushed at the end of the evening—even though it was a Saturday night. The staff handled the transition at the end of the event so comfortably and graciously. In the middle of food service, there was an unexpected kitchen equipment issue. The managers immediately came up with solutions to ensure our guests never knew there was a problem. The issue was resolved quickly, and the manager also adjusted the bill in a very fair and thoughtful manner. I would absolutely plan another event at Dear Maud and would highly rec

I had such a great experience here! The atmosphere is amazing — cozy, fun, and perfect for spending time with friends. The drinks were really good, and the overall vibe made us want to stay for hours. It’s the kind of place that works whether you’re going out with a group or just want to come alone, sit at the bar, enjoy a cocktail, and grab something to eat. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Hoboken so far

Dear Maud is a great spot overall and definitely worth checking out! The ambience is really lovely - perfect for a relaxed evening or a nice dinner out. The drinks were also excellent, well-made and enjoyable. Food-wise, the crispy rice with tuna is a must-try - easily one of the highlights of the meal. The chicken bao buns were good, though the bao-to-chicken ratio felt a bit off, so you end up tasting more of the bun than the filling. The burrata pizza was delicious and something I’d happily order again. The pesto rigatoni pasta was just okay - not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. It would be great to see more pasta options on the menu.

This is a week delayed but I wanted to make sure I left a good review!! I normally come here for happy hour or a quick drink with friends. For this evening, I was having dinner with my sister in laws (so 3 people). They picked this place based on vibes and knowing there was a DJ. Last minute, the rest of our family decided to join. Devon (hostess) was able to accommodate 7!! People for dinner during a prime Friday night. We only had the table for 90 minutes, but they didn’t rush us. The food and drinks were exceptional. The service provided by Edith (I think was her name) was 11/10. She really took care of us the whole night. Even brought 2 birthday cakes for us!! At the end, she was able to find us a table so we could stay for the DJ which she 100% didn’t have to. Thank you thank you thank you ladies (and cooks and bartenders) for showing my suburban family how amazing Hoboken nights can be!!
